Collection and Delivery Driver

Redbridge Foodbank is currently recruiting drivers to help deliver food parcels to our local Foodbank Centres and pick up food donations from supermarkets and different destinations around Redbridge. If you are over 25, have been driving for over a year (with a Full UK or EU Drivers licence) and have no points on your licence then please apply.

Main tasks and responsibilities

•   Lifting boxes and crates of food both to and from the vehicle and within the foodbank and storage areas themselves.
• Carrying heavy boxes of canned foods.
• Regular loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Regular driving across the local area.
• This is a physically demanding role and includes heavy lifting and carrying boxes of food.
• Confident driver

• You will need to comply with the Driving policy of the food bank.
