*****Events Assistant****

One Place East

One Place East hold many events throughout the year and are instrumental in the running of the Disabilities Festival which takes place annually in Wanstead. We are looking for volunteers who can assist in the planning and running of our events. We also provide weekly groups such as our Gaming group, Creative Workshops and training. 

Please note that when applying for the Event Assistant role you consent to your details being used for contact purposes and may be entered on to One Place East's database.


Main tasks and responsibilities 

• To support with the smooth and safe running of One Place East events when required.

• To report any concerns to the Event Manager.

• To ensure that attendees are able to enjoy the event.

By applying for a volunteer position via Community Action Redbridge, the applicant is aware that they will be entered on to One Place East database for monitoring purposes. The applicant will be required to complete a One Place East application from and undergo an enhanced DBS check if their application is successful.
