Volunteer Brief: One-Off Opportunity – Flyer Distribution and Resident Engagement

About the role

This is a one-off opportunity to contribute to Lifeline Projects’ mission of fostering a safer, more cohesive community, while gaining valuable experience in community development and engagement.

We’re looking for a confident and friendly volunteer to assist Ayomide, Community Engagement Officer at Lifeline Projects, at the Festival of Culture in Loxford Park.

Your role will involve engaging with residents, promoting our Rapid Response Group, and encouraging residents to subscribe to this initiative where they can voice safety concerns about the Ilford Lane area.


Main tasks and  responsibilities:

  • Hand out flyers and approach residents to promote the Rapid Response Group.
  • Encourage residents to subscribe to the group and explain its benefits for addressing safety concerns in the area.
  • Share information about Lifeline Projects’ events and workshops.
  • Shadow Ayomide and assist in outreach activities at the festival.

  • A friendly, approachable, and engaging attitude.
  • Passion for making a difference in the community.
  • Need to be 18+years old

 

Volunteer will be briefed prior to engagement. We do not require volunteers to be DBS checked.
