About us : Redbridge Equalities & Community Council RECC

We seek to promote equality of opportunity and good relations between persons of different groups and circumstances, having regard to racial origin, disability, gender, gender assignment, religion, age, sexual orientation, marital status or civil partnership, maternity/paternity. To this end we offer to provide materials and speakers to community organisations, places of worship schools, trade unions about equalities issues challenging myths, prejudices and bullying. We are working to ensure that new communities and marginalised people have a voice, are able to participate in the community, access advice and services and know their rights through outreach and producing materials. We offer advice and training on equalities issues.

 Individuals with sound experience and skills in particular areas - Accountancy, Finance, Social Investment, Risk management, Digital media & Ai, People and culture 

 

What skills do I need?

Skills, attributes, experience and qualifications

Attendance and Time commitment for 2 days a month

6 × Board meetings per year 

1 × Annual General Meeting 

Participation at external meetings, events,  campaigns and activities on behalf of RECC, as required from time to time
