Sue's House: Ilford Cancer and Holistic Help Centre

Sue's House is a nonprofitable registered charity offering complimentary therapies through acupuncture, counselling, Reiki healing, chair Yoga, diet and nutrition advice. We care for cancer patients and their families with our range of treatments and by providing a place where they feel supported.

What skills do I need?

The cancer centre is well equipped with therapy rooms appropriate for treatments.

We need a caring volunteer, experience in counselling the vulnerable,  who will put our patients at the heart of what they do. They need to be qualified and registered with the professional body and they should have their own indemnity insurance.

Volunteers would only need to do the hours that suit them on any of the three days that we are open. Ideally they would offer at least 2 hours a week or a fortnight, but other timetables may be accommodated on request.
