HR Recruitment Volunteer

We provide free, confidential, independent and impartial advice and campaigns on big issues affecting people’s lives.  Our Goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face. 

We are an independent charity and part of the Citizens Advice network across England and Wales. 

HR Recruitment Volunteer
This role is to help recruit volunteers to a variety of roles, managing advertising, expressions of interest, references, answering queries and providing information to potential volunteers of all ages and backgrounds.

 Ability to work with the public and a busy office environment although no experience is necessary as training is given we require a good standard of spoken and written English with other languages an advantage.

Main tasks and  responsibilities. 

•  Basic IT skills and willingness to learn further IT packages.
• Good report-writing skills the ability to analyse complex information and work constructively with other agencies.
• Ability and willingness to work as part of a team with the ability to give feedback clearly and sensitively.
• Ability to work on own initiative, within given guidelines
  

• Identifying areas to  promote volunteering opportunities with CAR.
• Processing expressions of interest, answering queries, reviewing application forms

• Aid the progress on to a training program and further to our service rotas.
