About the role

The role is based in Ilford in our retail shop to help raise money by selling clothes and homewares for our charity, which helps to support patients with life limiting illnesses and support families and friends in their grief which is given for free. To do this we need to be able to raise as much money as possible to give this service.

The main purpose of this role is to raise funds for our charity so we can support patients with life limiting illnesses and support families and friends in their grief free of charge.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Sorting through donations
• Putting stock out
• Sorting through bric a brac
• Vacuuming and tidying the shop floor
• Hanging clothes
• Picking clothes off the floor and rehanging them, making sure the shop is always neat and tidy 
• Cashiers use our computerised till completing cash and card transactions
• Making a cup of tea but most importantly be part of a team and have a laugh.
