Social media volunteer

About us

We are looking for two dedicated volunteer who can offer approximately 3 hours each per week to help us strengthen our online engagement across all our Mothersintowork.com  social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter). The aim is to improve our outreach, raise awareness of our services, and support more mothers as they move closer to employment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  •  to have an interest in social media, understand how Facebook and instagram and Twitter work and be on a course studying social media or have completed one.
  • Editing video content and creating TikTok content videos would be advantageous. 

What skills do I need?

Skills, attributes, experience and qualifications
  • Creating and scheduling weekly posts on mother’s info work Instagram that reflect our mission, services, and upcoming events.
  • Monitoring engagement and responding to comments or messages where appropriate.
  • Helping to grow our online following through consistent and meaningful interaction especially on our Instagram account. 
  • Supporting the development of simple social media campaigns to promote programmes, workshops, and success stories. These can be on Instagram and TikTok 
  • Ensuring our content remains positive, inclusive, and aligned with the values of Mothers Into Work.
  • Providing occasional updates or insights on what is working well across our platforms and being able to get on with work confidently and independently. Both volunteers would be communicating as a team and supporting each other 
  • Need to be 18+
