Ilford Sunday Drop in for the Homeless
We run a weekly drop-in for homeless men and women and those insecurely housed and on a low income. We supply them with a hot meaLS, sandwiches cakes and drinks.
We average about 35-45 attendees who welcome the chance for somewhere to go when other services are closed. We sometimes offer donated clothes and, toiletries. We give informal advice where we can. We have lists of other places where free food is available.
Role purpose
As a Volunteer Team Leader, you will lead our Sunday drop-in session, ensuring it is safe, welcoming, and well run for both guests and volunteers. You’ll be a calm, supportive presence, helping the service run smoothly and stepping in if any issues arise.
You’ll be supported by the Chair, the wider Team Leader group, and the helpers if needed, you are never on your own.
